This is a 1940 Ford 1/2 ton pickup truck. It has a complete 1989 s-10 drive train with the 4.3 fuel injected V6 engine and 700R4 automatic transmission. The s-10 frame and suspension has not been altered. The Ford body was channeled over it so it handles just like a s-10 pickup. It is all steel with a tilt front end for easy access. It has power steering, power brakes, disk in front, drum in the rear, and tilt wheel. It is also 4WD. You can drive this rod all year round if you want to! All lights and gauges work, including turn signals, and windshield wiper. A new Kenwood stereo has been installed with two subwoofers, and a 900 watt Kenwood amp. Sounds great! It also has a ah-hooga horn, and whistle. This truck recently passed inspection in 2015 by the Washington State Patrol in Spokane WA, and is titled as a 1940 Ford Streetrod. They installed a new number on the drivers door jam. All new glass, and rubber front and rear. Drivers door glass has a crack. It has a new headliner, carpet, and the s-10 seats were just reupholstered. It also has a excellent working heater with defrost. No a/c but it would not be hard to put the original s10 a/c equipment back. The compressor is still there. This is not a show truck it's a driver. It has some nicks in the paint, and a few dings in the bed from being used for 76 years. The old Crager rims are also showing some patina. I like it the way it is, I wouldn't change a thing! But that's up to you. Also has a new Cedar wood bed. This little truck is a blast to drive, and you can do 70 or 80 no problem. Handles excellent. Questions: you can call Gary at: 310-595-4586.
