I have for sell my 1985 BMW K100RT. The odometer does not work so mileage is unknown showing 130,000 miles but I do not know if it's the original speedometer or not. The speedometer does work just the odometer not working. All the other functions work(low fuel lights,choke light,oil and temp lights). But don't let the mileage fool you this bike is in excellent running and riding condition. Will cruise 100mph + all day. It has been my daily driver for the last year and a half. Never any problems or issues. I run Mobile one 15w50 oil and it was changed about 1000 miles ago. The engine does not leak oil and does not smoke. It starts right up and idles and accelerates and shifts smoothly. Very quiet running machine. The cooling fan works as it should. I would ride this bike anywhere. Cosmetically the bike is what you would expect from a 31 year old machine(some scratches and paint chips,a couple of small dings in the gas tank,small tear in the Russell Day Long saddle). I never got around to painting the gas tank after I fixed a dent and still has primer on the repair(top right of tank see photo).The tires are about 6 months old and the agm battery is 1 month old. I upgraded the hard cases from a 1995 k1100LT so they have the extra carrying capacity. It will come with a lightly used size large Tourmaster riding(rain and thermal liners included) jacket and medium helmet. Also has the 22 liter trunk. Clean Alabama title in hand.
