Up for auction are both of my remaining Subaru Foresters. I am clearing out my car collection projects due to a career change demanding much more of my time. If anyone recalls.....I just sold my 2004 Subaru Forester XT Turbo a few weeks back. Check my feedback....buyer is very happy. That being said....here is the story for both of these cars and everything that is being sold with them. Neither cars will pass New York State Inspection and I no longer have the time to diagnose issues and fix them due to my career change. SELLING THE '99 AS A PARTS CAR BUT A REALLY NICE DRIVER CAN BE MADE FROM COMBINING BOTH OF THEM. OR JUST FIX THE EVAP CODE ON THE '01. BOTH TITLES ARE CLEAR WITH NO ISSUES 1999 Forester: VIN: JF1SF6552XG707459 Mileage: 127,406 Check Engine Light is on...don't know what the codes are and don't care since it was going to be a donor car anyway. 5-Speed Manual shifts fine, clutch is good, drivetrain functions fine Engine runs fine but has typical headgasket coolant leak Rear hatch door has a few dents (see pics) and passenger side rear back-up light is damaged No rear brakes....previous owner detached rear brake lines due to leaky calipers Front brakes work Needs front Rack and Pinion replaced.... I have a new one included here in this auction Interior is not perfect but decent enough All lights work, all windows work Tires not great but hold air Minimal rust as can be seen in the pics 2001 Forester: VIN: JF1SF635X1H709917 Mileage: 178,979 STILL MY DAILY DRIVER FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS WHEN INSPECTION RUNS OUT Check Engine Light is on showing code P0447 Evap Code Windshield has small "U" shaped crack under the registration sticker on lower drivers side. Does not affect inspection (passed when I last had it inspected) and is not getting any bigger like most cracks do. It was there when I got the car and hasn't got any worse. Automatic Trans Runs perfect, drives perfect, trans works perfect All brakes fine All tires fine Interior very good SEE PICS Everything works except A/C which does work when you re-charge it, just doesn't last for some reason. No leaks More rust on this one as can be seen in the pics Timing Belt was done 5,000 miles ago or so NOW FOR THE INCLUDED PARTS: New Rack and Pinion Assembly for Forester, Impreza, etc. 2 New Front Sway bar Links for Forester, Impreza, etc. New Transmission Filter for Forester New Brake Pads for Forester, Impreza, etc. Used for about 10 minutes 3" Stainless Test Pipe to replace Cats for WRX, Impreza, Forester, etc. New 3" Stainless Cat Back (or use the test pipe above) Complete Exhaust for WRX, Impreza, Forester, etc. New Brake Rotors New Stock Midpipe with Resonator for Forester, Impreza, etc. New Front CV Complete Shaft Assembly for Forester, Impreza, etc. 4 New Snow tires on rims (not pictured) are also included
