For sale is a white 1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa. I have had the car for 25 years. I think I am the third owner. As long as I have had it, the car has always been garaged. Mileage is 84,497 (as of May 24 2016). I have kept all of the repair / maintenance records . I was going to sell it late last year but it would not start. I thought the injectors were clogged. Took it into the garage and ended up doing a complete engine rebuild (bottom and top). Work done is too much to list (repair bill 7 pages long). It now accelerates better than when I bought it 25 years ago. CONS for the car.Needs a catalytic converter. Needs a new radio Mechanic said the clutch cable is a little short ( I have not noticed). Will need a valve adjustment at 500 miles (post rebuild). 3 1/2 inches of stitching on the passenger seat has come undone Half a dozen micro chips in the hood paint (I filled in each chip every time I discovered one... (with not exact matching white paint) one larger chip on the wheel well. In making the video for the car, I used duct tape to hold the camera tripod steady against the roll bar. When I removed the tape it it pulled off a small patch of top layer black roll bar paint (could be a rattle can layer of paint the guy who sold it to me used to spiff it up). Drivers side rear rubber bumper has a 1 inch cut in it (a cut but no indentation). PROS Complete Engine Rebuild. No rust. Tires do not have many miles on them.
