Up for sale is a 2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder with a 2zzge engine and 6 speed transmission. This is my nice weather weekend car. Sadly my life has outgrown this car, and I need to let it go to get something bigger to suit my needs. The car has 123000 miles on it, while the engine and transmission have approx 50k miles on them. The oem 1zzfe exhaust and catalytic converters were reused. The car has no check engine lights, it runs and drives great, and passes NJ state inspection with no issues. Ive never been let down by this car, and best off it still gets 30mpg. Id say overall its condition is fair. It does have the normal wear and tear youd expect to find in a car this old. The top has a tear in it but can be easily replaced. The car has no rust, and has never been in a accident. The lift bolts and o2 sensors were replaced about 8k miles ago. The battery was replaced with a Optima yellow top battery about a year and a half ago. I park the car for weeks at a time, and never come out to a dead battery. The Ebrake cables were replaced about 6 months ago. The Brake rotors, and pads were replaced less then 500 miles ago The Tires also have less then 500 miles on them. If youre in the market for a Spyder dont pass this one up. It gives you Lotus performance with a Spyder price tag. Please have all details for shipping/pickup worked out before bidding.
