I have a 2002 Dodge Ram quad cab 1500 slt up for auction. It has the 5.9L v8. I have only had this truck a few weeks so I do not know much about it. I bought this truck to help someone out. That being said I will give the best description I possibly can. The truck runs and drives well but it does need a power steering pump and also needs a front driveshaft for the 4wd to work. I do not know why the drive shaft was out to begin with? The motor has a slight miss when idle but when driving, it runs and shifts out good. The person I got it from said the motor has been rebuilt but i have no paper work to prove that. The abs light blinks but no other warning lights or engine lights are on. The tires aren't in the best shape but they are road worthy. The body has dings ,scratches and some paint chipping. The hood and driver side fender have been replaced at some point. Driver seat is tore pretty good but the other seats look pretty good, but the top of the dash is busted pretty bad but has a carpet dash cover over it. The windshield has crack and the rear window is busted but I have a replacement window for the rear window I just haven't put it in. I have to many projects so I don't have time to fix this one up. With a little tlc this would be a good truck. Took the truck on a 2 hour trip with no problems and have used it to run around town and it seems to be a pretty solid truck.
