1969 CHEVROLET C10 SHORTBED PICKUP 56,329 ORIGINAL MILES. ONE FAMILY OWNED. TITLE DATED FROM 4/1992 (24 Years) FATHER TO SON TRANSFER. ALL ORIGINAL SHEET METAL. ORIGINAL AND COMPLETELY RUST FREE CAB CORNERS AND ROCKERS ON BOTH SIDES. FRONT FENDERS HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED. ORIGINAL RUST FREE BED AND FLOOR. NEAR PERFECT SHUT LINES ON BOTH DOORS, HOOD AND TAILGATE. ( View photos to verify condition is as stated) DRIVETRAIN IS ORIGINAL TO THE TRUCK AND IS CHEVROLETS 250 ci INLINE SIX CYLINDER WITH A THREE SPEED MANUAL COLUMN SHIFT TRANSMISSION. ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS UN-MOLESTED AND IN FANTASTIC CONDITION WITH THE CHALK/GREASE PENCIL MARKING PRESENT ON THE FIREWALL. TRUCK STARTS AND RUNS VERY WELL AND IS VERY USER FRIENDLY EVEN WITH MANUAL STEERING AND BRAKES. I'VE DRIVEN MANY C10'S OF THIS ERA AND THIS ONE IS FAR BEYOND ANY OTHERS. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS CRISP AND ACCURATE WITH NO VAGUENESS OR LOOSENESS IN THE COLUMN SHIFT. ASIDE FROM A NEW DASH PAD, THE INTERIOR OF THE TRUCK IS ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE FACTORY SEAT COVER. THE SEAT AND THE CARDBOARD/FIBRE- BOARD GAS TANK COVER HAS NEVER BEEN REMOVED. I HAVE TAKEN MANY PHOTOS FROM MANY DIFFERENT ANGLES THAT I CAN PROVIDE YOU TO VARIFY CONDITION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME REGARDING GETTING MORE CONPREHENSIVE PHOTOS OF ALL THE AREAS OF THE TRUCK, INCLUDING THE UNDERSIDE. THE DASH IS IN ORIGINAL PAINT WITH THE CORRECT "GM' AM RADIO. DETAILS... WINDSHEILD- COULD BE ORIGINAL GLASS. 2 SMALL CHIPS. OTHERWISE VERY GOOD. ( I can provide photos if desired) GRILL- THE ORIGINAL GRILL. IT DOES HAVE SLIGHT DAMAGE TO THE POINT OF THE GRILL JUST AHEAD OF THE LEADING EDGE OF THE HOOD, AND IS VISABLE IN SOME OF THE PHOTOS. THE HOOD AND BODY WERE NOT AFFECTED AND ARE FREE OF DAMAGE. BUMPERS- I WOULD ASSUME THAT BOTH ARE ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE REAR "FARM STYLE" UNIT. BOTH ARE IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION AND WERE REPAINTED AT SAME TIME THE BODY WAS PAINTED. PAINTWORK- THE ENTIRE TRUCK WAS REPAINTED ONCE ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO IN THE ORIGINAL COLOR. THIS WAS A TIME BEFORE THE "ORIGINAL PATINA" THING WAS AS POPULAR AS IT IS TODAY. THE QUALITY OF THE PAINTWORK IS VERY GOOD. I WOULD NOT WANT TO MAKE THE CLAIM THAT IT IS A "SHOW CAR" PAINT JOB BECAUSE EVERYBODY'S DEFINITION OF THAT IS DIFFERENT, BUT IT IS VERY HIGH QUALITY WORK AND LOOK LIKE ORIGINAL PAINT. WHEELS/TIRES- NEW GOODYEAR WRANGLER TIRES (size 235/75r15) WERE MOUNTED 5/7/2016 ON THE ORIGINAL STEEL WHEELS WITH THE BALANCING WEIGHTS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE RIM. THE CORRECT BLUE AND WHITE HUBCAPS ARE INCLUDED AND CAN BE SEEN IN THE LAST PHOTOS. INTERIOR CONTROLS/HEATER ECT- ALL ELECTIC ITEMS, HEADLIGHTS,TAIL-LIGHTS,BRAKE LIGHTS, ARE FULLY OPERTIONAL. HEATER WORKS ON ALL FAN SPEEDS. INTERIOR CAB VANITY LIGHT OPERATIONAL. MILEAGE- ONE COULD MAKE THE CLAIM THAT IT'S UNLIKELY THAT A 47 YEAR OLD CHEVY TRUCK COULD HAVE ONLY 56,000 MILES ON IT. IVE SEEN MANY CLAIMS OVER THE YEARS ON THESE LOW-MILE VEHICLES, AND I'M ALWAYS SKEPTICAL. BUT LOOK AT THE DETAILS. - NO RUST ON CAB CORNERS OR ROCKERS. ( I have not seen that too often) - ORIGINAL SEAT COVER AND GAS TANK COVER. THIS IS AN AREA IN WHICH I TOOK MANY PHOTOS OF, FROM ALL DIFFERENT ANGLES. IN THE PHOTOS YOU CAN SEE THAT IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT THE SEAT HAS EVER BEEN REMOVED AND YOU CANNOT RE-UPHOLSTER WITHOUT TAKING THE SEAT OUT, AS IT DOESNT TILT FORWARD ENOUGH TO WORK BEHIND IT. - THE ORIGINAL RUBBER FLOOR MATS. WALTER (The father) ALWAYS COVERED THE RUBBER FLOORMAT WITH PIECES OF CARPET THAT HE WOULD CUT OUT TO FIT THE AREA, THEREFOR PROTECTING THE ORIGINAL MAT. ( I'll provide photos of this area and carpet if needed). - MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION. BASED ONLY ON THE TIGHTNESS AND CRISPNESS OF THE COLUMN SHIFTER, YOU CAN TELL IT'S A LOW MILE VEHICLE. AFTER 100,000 MILES THESE BECOME LOOSE AND VAGUE TO OPERATE. Wayzata is an outer ring suburb directly west of Minneapolis about 7-8 miles. We are also about 16-18 from the Minneapolis/St Paul international airport. About a 20-30 minute cab ride.
