2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 Up for auction at NO RESERVE, I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 4x2 Railroad truck, I am a wholesale dealer, and sell these vehicles just as I get them. Everything is sold AS-IS with no warranties implied, if I know of any problems with a vehicle, I will state them. With right at 316k miles on it, this former railroad truck runs and drives as it should. Motor seems to be very healthy, it is ready to jump in and drive, it is powered by a 6.0L V8 with an automatic 6 speed transmission. It is on 19.5" tires with heavy duty 8 lug wheel adapters. This truck would make a great work truck, the body is not in perfect shape, front bumper has been cut to accomodate for the railroad running gear, drivers door appears to have gotten into the fender causing some damage,and the truck may have some other pings and scratches around the cab of it. It's not in perfect condition by any means, some interior wear, a broken trim piece ortwo, etc. I have not tested any of the railroad running gear, (hydraulics, lights, hydraulic lift, etc) But I assume it is in working order, A/C is non operational, unsure if it could just use a charge or needs other work done as well.
