This is a very cool old towing unit , built right many years ago , It is a 69 Chevy half ton pickup in front , with a dually rearend out of an 81 Chevy one ton in the rear , the frame work was done strong and right , this was a drag car trailer toter after it was customized , many years ago . I have had this truck for a few years now , and recently done a BUNCH of improvements to it , it is a true survivor . with NO RESERVE the outer body and floors are free of rust , does not have major bondo in it anywhere , very solid Montana steel . the engine is strong , a 70s or early 80s 454 . New carburetor , edelbrock , finned valve covers , and intake , and Carb , and filter assembly . the heads were just rebuilt also , and all upper gaskets that go with that major repair , . A major tune was done at the same time , there is a little Gorilla tape over some seam separations in the seat , and cracks on the dash pad , the dash is uncut original , and everything works as it should , the heater controls are all strong and intact , ( they usually have broken switches in these years) , all gauges are original and work properly , all lights function properly , with new Halogen headlights , the sill plates ( stainless ) are new , even the wiper blades , the Brakes are new on all four corners , shoes new all around , front bearings packed , and new seals , rears have new wheel cylinders . Power steering and power brakes , This truck drives better than my 05 Cummins , not nearly the labor with one finger steering . it is just a great old truck that would be the perfect match to pull your classic 67-72 show truck , or a drag car , race car or even a Rat Rod toter . as it has fantastic patina , with the primer , and the original green showing through , the hood and roof are straight and flat , ( no hail dings whatsoever. The painted portion of the interior is dark green , with the upholstery being black .
