THIS BIKE IS BEING SOLD OUT OF A PRIVATE MUSEUM COLLECTION. It was purchase ten years ago from a Sherriff. It was his personal motorcycle. We were told by the Sherriff, the bike was always stored inside and used for short rides, on road, throughout his township. This motorcycle is completely original as it came from the dealership in 1974. Original Tires, Paint, Seat cover, even the inspection marks exist on the frame from the Honda factory. Five years ago when we purchased the bike, we road this bike a couple of times to the local Honda store where it always drew a crowd. The original oil injection system remains and is fully functional. All lights, turn indicators and horn functioned as designed. The motorcycle is true “barn find”. Not a restored motorcycle. The gas tank has a slight film of rust inside from modern fuels. The tank is NOT Rotted. IF THIS DOESN'T GO IN TO PRIVATE COLLECTION OR MUSEUM, Careful attention should be paid to servicing the motorcycle (fluids) before attempting to start it or running the motorcycle on public roads. THIS IS A VERY COLLECTABLE DIRT BIKE FROM THE EARLY DAYS OF DIRT BIKING IN THE US. Because it is so original it Certainly will draw a crowd at a bike night event or a vintage motorcycle meet.
