1997 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCab with an 8 foot bed. Time to find a new home. I had used the truck for about 10 years to just put gas in my boat, so that is why the miles aren't higher. The fuel cell in the bed pictured here does not come with the truck as that has now been removed. I have owned this truck since 1999, as has been reliable. It took on rust from just sitting so much. For the last two years my kid has been driving but is now graduating and I got him a different truck. The truck runs well with no issues that I know of. I had some front end work done to it just a while back as kid was complaining it pulls to one side on the highway, and the brakes were done about a year ago, other than that nothing has been done in years. Here are things I want to point out:The check engine light comes on sometimes, not certain why, but never looked into it as was planning to sell the truck.The exhaust is slightly load, but not loud enough to ever do anything about it.The power mirrors stick at times or do not operate (I think that is from sitting). They stay in place perfectly fine, so I would leave that alone.The drivers side power lock button sometimes needs to be hit a couple of times for the passenger door to unlock.The A/C does not work. I had the A/C unit replaced about 8 years ago as it had frozen. The A/C never worked after that and I never looked into it as I wasn't driving the truck except to get gas for our boat. Truck has a hitch and a brake controller, but I have not used the brake controller in many years as my current boat is too large to tow. Trailer lights work for sure. That's about all I know.
