I purchased the vehicle from a Hendrick Motorsports auction in North Carolina, and have been driving it since. It is a clean, extremely powerful example of a '68 Cuda with the most desirable 440CI engine. Title says 113,000 miles. Vehicle has no rust. Very solid. It has been repainted blue when the roll cage was installed. It starts, runs and drives as it should with no surprises. Sounds amazing. No knocks or pinging. Doesn't leak, nor burn any fluids. The 440 Engine has good compression, with high comp pistons, open chamber heads and a Milidon oil pan. Has a demon carb. Hooker Super Competition headers. Wilwood brakes. CSR Electric Water Pump with aluminum radiator and electric fans. Full MSD ignition from the 6AL box to the coil and wires. Full subframe connectors on the frame. Moser 8 1/4 rear end. Race-approved battery disconnect. Mickey Thompson tires. Comes with a bunch of spare parts in the trunk from a roller cam to spare timing gears and spare gaskets for almost everything. Mostly everything works on the car with exception to the speedo/tach, which was replaced by an aftermarket tach with shift light. It also has a B&M shifter with line lock, however the line lock is not hooked up. Glass appears to be all original. Has Kirkey racing seats with functional fire extinguisher mounted between them on the cage. Very comfortable for race seats. This car would make someone an excellent weekend car you can daily drive if you want to, yet still take to the track on the weekend. I have it tuned to run on a 50/50 mix of 93 octane and VP110 race gas, however it can be run strictly on pump gas. I have never raced the car professionally. According to the previous owner, it was raced five times after it was built and ran low ten seconds in the quarter, however I'm not going to be the guy that verifies that as I have no desire to or access to a race track. If I was going to keep it, I would probably paint it B5 Blue or Plum Crazy Purple. The blue paint it has now is in great shape for the year, however it wasn't a $30k paint job, and if you look down the panels you can see it could've been done better. However, it doesn't detract from the overall appearance of the vehicle. This vehicle can be driven anywhere, for as long as you want, with no issues whatsoever. I'm selling the car because I just bought a Hellcat and am trying to get rid of some of my older vehicles.
