Many of you may remember the "bullet" car, the 1955 standard that was for sale on the Samba several years ago. I purchased the car that was located in California. I had it shipped back east. This standard was made for the German market and delivered to a dealership in Darmstadt, Germany on the 14th day of April 1955. The previous owner and I believe this was a soldier bring back. The car has a good clear California title. My original plan was to use a 1955 donor car I brought back from Montana several years ago, the donor car has no title, for a lot of donor parts including the pan halves, which are excellent on the Montana car. The Standard "bullet car" has cable brakes which are non functional but all the hardware to restore the brake system is included. Also included in this auction are two 36 horse power engines. One is complete, the other is not, please see posted pictures. I also have several boxes of VW parts to go with this auction. The Standard "bullet car" does have a running 1600 motor in it though. Battery is dead now though. Everything in these pics are part of this auction. I didn't post a picture of the parts boxes because I ran out of photos on here.
