Up for sale, for your consideration, is one of the nicest 1980 Datsun 280zx 10th Anniversary Edition offered on the market today. This is a one owner car with only 42,530 original miles on it. The car was purchased new in Iowa in May of 1980 and is still owned by the original owners. The car has no rust on it anywhere. This car has always been special to them and they treated it special by only driving it in nice weather, no snow or salt on this car ever! It has been garage kept its entire life. The car hasn't been registered since 2007, but it is driven regularly (only on nice days) around the neighborhood to keep the car in tip top running condition and to prevent the components and engine from rotting away in the garage. All the pictures that I have posted here are recent pictures of the car.The car is in superb condition with only minor small chips on the hood and a few small scratches and one larger key scratch down the passenger side of the car, all these minor flaws are what one might expect on a 36yr old car. The leather is flawless with no tears, rips, stains, or fading. The dash is original and perfect no cracks or fading. All the power options work, except for the antenna. The tires are in excellent condition with hardly any wear. The exterior paint is original and shines very nice with no fading. The rubber trim on the doors, windows and T-tops are supple and in excellent condition. The car is all original down to some of the smallest details (except for the tires and the battery) it has the original spark plug wires and original hoses including radiator hose, they were never changed because the car was babied and these parts simply never wore out. Plus if you were ever to take this car to a Z car convention or show the judges would love how original it is and would score high points for its originality. The car runs perfect with plenty of power and the 5speed transmission shifts smooth and the clutch is nice and tight with almost no wear on it either. The car has no rattles or squeaks and goes straight down the road with no pulling left or right. If your looking for a 10th Anniversary 280zx this is the one you want. There's only a few other 10th Anniversary editions out there, but take a look at them, they're rust buckets with horrible leather and cracked up dashes and the red and black ones (the other color available for the anniversary car) in my opinion, doesn't look nearly as nice as the black and gold ones do.
