Selling my 2004 Forester XT. I bought this last year and have no time to work on it. I have a new job and I'm working long hours so I have no time anymore for these types of projects. I paid $1,500 for it as it is. My loss, your gain for sure. Details: It runs fairly well but lacks power due to low compression on drivers side cylinder #4. Engine code shows a misfire on that cylinder. I did a compression test and confirmed it is low at 70 psi. The previous owner had the dealer install a NEW turbo for $1,400 in parts and labor (I have no idea why anyone would do that) believing that was the problem but it was not, obviously, and the dealer should have been honest and looked into it further but the world is full of people like that. We just have to deal with it. I tried to get two pics, as you can see, of the turbo to show that it's new but they aren't that great. Everything is crammed in that engine bay as you know. It drives fine and everything else works as it should except the passenger side headlight that has a seal issue. There seems to be moisture getting in the housing somewhere so it's not working. Cosmetically it has it's scratch and ding issues but nothing major. For some bizarre reason all the headrests are missing except for the drivers seat. I got it that way and you will also if you win the auction. The accident that the car check shows is the cosmetic stuff shown in the pics. There is no major damage. The original wheels are the ones on the front of the vehicle and I have all 4 of them. The two on the rear go on another one of my Subaru's, I just had them on there to see how they looked.
