Vehicle Detail
E30 M3 Daily Driven Project I bought this project as a non-rolling, empty shell over 3 years ago, since then I have been slowly restoring it to street duty. Yes, the shell has been raced in the past by a couple of the previous owners but she has been lovingly converted back to street spec and is totally road legal. None of the current driveline or suspension has every been raced, strictly street duty only. The only noticeable remnants of its former life as a race car is that under the car there are still the old reinforcing points for the roll cage plus a couple small indents on the dashboard where the roll cage was pushing on it. Unfortunately, I don’t have much history of the car back then as it was removed from road registration history. Given this the actual mileage is honestly not known, I would guess it’s between 150-200,000 KM. The current instrument cluster reads 125,xxx KM, which isn’t correct as I swapped it in (she had no cluster when I originally bought her). It is also worth noting that she has been marked on CarFax as a “rebuild” here in Vancouver, BC following at least one crash that I know of. Most of damage was to the front passenger side, front-right fender, hood and front bumper (this is before my ownership and I have no photos or useful info from that time. There are noticeable repair marks throughout these areas (see photos). But fear not my fellow E30 M3 enthusiast as all the applicable repairs were professional completed and she dives as straight as an arrow. Given this history she is not really a collectable example but is much more suited to “FUN WEEKEND BIG KIDS TOY”. I look forward to answering any questions you may have, and in-person inspections or test-drives are welcomed but please do so before committing to the purchase. If you are out of town then I would be more than happy to drop the vehicle at an independent mechanic of your choosing here in Vancouver, BC for an inspection at your cost. I have a clear and current ownership/registration papers in my possession. Final transportation and delivery of this vehicle is the sole responsibility of the purchaser but I’m happy to meet you on the Canadian side of the US border if that helps in anyway. Otherwise I'm happy assist you in any other way I can to make sure you love driving this E30 M3 as much as I have. For payment I'll accept payment by wire transfer, cash in-person or certified bank check. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due upon agreeing to purchase with the balance due within 3 business days. MECHANICAL:She is currently running a M2B28 2.8L engine from 1998 E36 328i. This was meant to be temporary while I was searching for a good S54 to transplant.
