Vehicle Detail
Reserve is low on this bike. 1998 Honda Valkyrie with 52,125 miles on it. Runs like a top. Dealer serviced and garage kept since I bought it six years ago. It was parked in my garage for a year during a deploymentin 2011. I mainly used it as a bike to take trips with. It has one key that fits the gas cap, ignition, and seat lock. A different one that fits the fork lock. Someone, unsuccessfully, tried to steal it in 2013. They tried to start it with a screw driver. The incident wasn't reported because they hadn't taken the bike, and I'd rather not have my insurance rates go up on something I could get taken care of. I had a dealer replace the three most common locks with a new key set. I have a clear title in hand. Add ons: switchblade removable windshield (short/1up), quick detach removable BOSS leather- like bags w/ piggy back bags and bottle holder, heated hand grips, aftermarket hand grips, aftermarket mustang seat, 12v port clamped on handle bars w/ cigarette lighter insert, light bar, after market exhaust tips (factory exhaust), red led auxiliary light srips on each side of tank the front of radiator and under seat w/ it's own switch, lower wind defectors, highway pegs, passenger floor boards, sissy bar, lots of chrome, dip stick, radiator cover, engine covers. It's been a solid bike for me but it's time to move on to something with fairing. Thanks for looking, and good luck. Feel free to ask any questions. I'll answer them the best can.On Apr-18-16 at 17:57:37 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is more details about the bike. Most of the issues are easy issues to fix. I'm just a procrastinator. It does have rust starting on both rear shock covers and both passenger floor boards. The light bar has a small dent in the rear of one of the light housings. I don't know how it happened. It was on it when I bought it. The chrome radiator cover has a couple of small scratches on it. Bike isn't polished up in show condition, I just wiped it down quickly. Some of the grommets have worn out on the battery cover under the seat. I have a new pack, but never replaced them. I zip tied them together and never got around to doing it since those held fine. Led lights don't work right now, could be a blown fuse or crossed wire during a rushed battery change. Tires are 70%On Apr-21-16 at 11:05:55 PDT, seller added the following information: https://youtu.be/8R5fQyvhz3o Here's a quick video of it starting up and running. The bike was cold so you can see a couple of puffs of smoke from the tailpipe. It does that until it gets warmed up. I had it checked out and the mechanic said It's nothing out of the ordinary. It's done that since I bought it and doesn't burn any oil or leak. It runs solid. I'm also dropping the reserve to where the next bid will meet it. The bike is going to be sold.
