2000 Ford Excursion Limited with rare low mile 7.3L turbo diesel engine that only has 98,590 original miles. The truck is completely stock with no modifications to the body or engine. I purchased from the original owner about 5-6 months ago.....Thought the truck just needed couple little things when I purchased, but ended up fixing all it needed seeing that my kids were going to be in the back. Had the truck gone through completely mechanically(about 3 months in the shop...list below)....repairs totaled $7000. I purchased for my wife as a kid hauler but she decided it was too big and therefore its just been sitting in the garage and I just drive a couple times a week. The truck has been in Massachusetts since new....body is rust free, surface rust on underneath surfaces. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the truck. It starts, runs, shifts and drives very nicely and the pre-emission 7.3L engines are known for their reliability. The engine runs smooth without smoking and there are no warning lights. The interior is nearly spotless with no rips, stains, smells or defects. The exterior original paint is in great condition for a 16 year old truck. The only cosmetic issues are decent sized dent on the hood, small dent on fender and a couple dings here or there....but few scratches. The dent on back of hood catches on plastic behind hood but still is able to open and close. There is no body rust on the outside....the very back of the rocker panels have started to rust on both size but truck passed MA inspection couple months ago with no issues. The frame has surface rust but was undercoated with POR15 which should help delay any further rust. The metal support bracket under the running boards have rusted, Ive purchase new set of ford OEM reinforcements but haven't installed. This is a common issue on any non-southern excursion and the parts will be included in sale. Below is a list of everything Ive replaced or fixed since purchase.....all have been done within the last few months and 300 miles. -4 new goodyear wranger rsa heavy load tires with 4 wheel alignment -replaced both batteries with Bosch -front brake pads/rotors/calipers and bleed brake system -drivers side front upper and lower ball joints -replace both front manual hub assemblies with Warn hubs -replaced rear sway bar, bushing, and end links....excursion are known for swaying on highway...this helped a lot -replaced both front axle U-joints and oil seals -replaced serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulley bearings -replaced fuel filter, changed oil, transmission fluid drain and fill with new filter, and changed coolant -replaced rear license plate bulbs and gaskets -replaced rear heater hose clamp -replaced radiator hose, thermostat housing to hose, replaced thermostat -installed new engine block heater -installed new fuel filler neck -replaced steering damper -replaced RT< front door lock actuators and RT rear actuator -replaced rear parking brake cable -replaced RT& Lt front ABS sensor -replaced transmission selector shaft seal -replaced rear differential speed sensor and wiring connector -replaced transfer case gasket, 2 u joints and stabilizer links - Oil pan and fuel pump was replaced by previous owner several years ago truck is located in 01450. I welcome inspections in 01450 before bid is placed. im not interested in trades of any kind. I have a clear MA title in hand that will only be released after funds have cleared(if paying by bank check). cash clears right away. truck is for sale locally and auction may be ended early if sold elsewhere. while the truck is in great shape and ive described all I know about it, it is 16 years old and I make no expressed or implied guarantees on anything. don't ask what it is...but reserve is under what I have put into the truck and under what many 7.3L on ebay under 100K mi sell for
