Vehicle Detail

This beautiful K1300GT is an amazing machine. It has all the factory options including ESA, adjustable windscreen, heated seats, heated hand grips, and more. I'll post the full spec list below, modified to match this bike's options. I'm selling because of two major things: 1) I've decided to get out of motorcycling because I want to be sure nothing happens to me while my daughter is young, and 2) I just lost my job. The bike has a clean and clear title, no liens, and is ready to go for the new owner. The price listed above includes everything shown below. Not only is this bike in excellent condition (especially mechanically), I also just put 2 brand new tires on, the brakes are fresh as of last year (not that many miles since then), and it has a TON of upgrades that make touring for hours a pleasure. Here's a list of what I've added on top of what comes on the bike standard: Options added to make touring much more fun, safe, and comfortable: Garmin Zumo 550 navigation with lifetime map upgrade (I'll have to see if I can transfer that to the new owner - if not you can come see me when you need updates) Lo-Jack theft protection Fuse box with all electronics wired to it with separate fuses to make it easier (and safer) to find problems with equipment and to avoid having any of the add-ons listed below from taking out the bike itself Rick Mayer custom foam and heated driver saddle/seat with passenger saddle/seat covered to match (not modified) Bags Connection Evo tank bag with upgraded POWERED connections for charging your phone, etc Amplirider built-in audio amplifier and volume control (see the close-up of the two knobs in the photos) - combines multiple audio inputs, cleans up the signals, and amplifies them to a single output for headphones (I use radar detector, audio from phone, and Garmin as my inputs - everything is already pre-wired and ready to go) Heated jacket/gloves controller - already built in and flush mounted (see close-up photo) LED rear brake light below license plate - flashes rapidly several times when you first hit the brakes, then stays on solid Custom highway pegs that fold in and out for those really long days Aero Flow windscreen for winter use - right now it has the summer screen on it (stock BMW) but I will include both with purchase R&G Frame Sliders - keep the bodywork in nice condition if you have a tipover or slide Screaming Banshee horn kit - SUPER LOUD horn with adjustable turn on delay. Also wired to high beams so it will flash them on and off while pressing the horn button - excellent for safety and visibility LED front foglights with separate switch Reflective tape on rear of both panniers/saddle bags and also on both sides of both wheels LED parking lamps to match the factory HID and added LED fog lamps Enlarged side stand (kick stand) foot for easier parking in soft/muddy/gravel conditions Clear front turn signal markers - I have the stock amber ones and will include those for the new owner Official BMW K1300GT DVD repair manual and guide Service records from Capitol BMW (you can also speak to Jon Ross there - he knows this bike very well) Factory BMW Options: Heated handgrips Heated seat Cruise Control ESA II (Electronic Suspension Adjustment II; new) Immobilizer Xenon headlight On-board computer including oil level warning unit ASC Anti-Slip Control TPC Tyre Pressure Control Center standThe Good: This bike is mechanically just about perfect. The hardware is in amazing almost like new condition. I am a pretty good amateur mechanic and take excellent care of my machines. I can supply even more high res photos of all of this. The Bad: I had a fall on the right side and repainted a couple panels including the right fairing and right pannier. They don't look quite as shiny as the left side. They could probably use a good buffing and/or a professional paint job. This is why I am asking less for the bike than normal. The upgrades I have added should more than make up for the slight cosmetic issue.
