You are bidding on a 1964 vw Single Cab pickup. This original vw Single Cab has a rebuilt 1650cc engine with dual webber carburetors, performance upgrades, a newly rebuilt transmission, and a new clutch (shifts perfectly through all 4 gears). This is one quick pickup that just gets up and goes. The faded original baby blue color mixed with just the right amount of aged patina for that rustic look just stand out in a crowd. The scripted font on the bedside and door is actually original!! This is the original paint!! The front end has been lowered with front beam 5 inch adjustable with 3.5 inch spindles, it has a great stance to it. The interior has been newly upholstered to match the original look. The bed and storage area are all good condition with minor rust areas not bad, the bumpers are also original as are the wheels. This truck is a pure pleasure to drive, you will get a lots of attention where ever you go. This 1964 Single Cab has been converted to a 12 volt system, brakes work great, lights, blinkers, all have been gone through for those long cruise nights. We just gave it a tune up, oil change and put in a new battery, ready for the spring car shows.
