In this auction is a 1974 Triumph Trident, HISTORY: I bought this bike 15 years ago I rode it very little I had the Head rebuilt 2 years after I bought it Complete head rebuild by Rabors in San Jose, I rode it for two more summers and we moved so what I did was store it in my barn. Its been in storage for 12 years Each year I would pull the plugs and oil the ports and kick it over, NO Gas in tank at all , I decided to give it to my son when he got older and when he got back from Afghanistan. He decided to start riding it and as time went on he put a master cylinder on it as the old one leaked. He cleaned the carbs and adjusted the Clutch, Now he decided he does not have time for it. He has another bike, Rice Rocket so I am selling it for him. I got it running again after siting for a few months . AS far as I know what it should have done to it. What should be done: New or clean front brakes , Adjust valves I only did it once when I rebuilt head. Adjust Idle: to slow, Slight oil leak on primary cover. Front wheel chrome a little rusty, Paint is very nice I painted it years ago still nice Base coat clear coat , Seat is nice , Front shocks nice , Tack works, Speedometer works , Rear shocks good Chain was new when I got it. new throttle cable The Bike runs nice just does not idle when cold Very smooth riding quite fast This is a nice bike just needs a little tinkering and cleaning On my Facebook (Tin Lizzy Restoration 2 ) you can see it run NO INTERNATIONAL SALES Cashiers check at pick up or pay pal Shipping is buyers responsibility I will assist in loading Son has pink slip and will re register it, its been out for 1 month Vin matching numbers frame / Engine
