This well loved Triumph TR5-T Trophy Trail comes to us on consignment. It's no barn queen, it's a survivor! The bike is in good condition, it starts, runs and drives very well. Tires and brakes are good (front brakes are soft, but work). All electrical works, it's perfectly streetable in it's current condition. The 4-speed transmission shifts through all the gears. The odometer currently reads 5101 mi, however there is no way to tell if that is original or replaced. History on this bike is relatively unknown as the seller bought it 3rd hand for his collection. As to be expected with any old British bike, it has it's share of things that need love. The bike does smoke on start-up. It doesn't leak oil as it sits, but while on an extended test ride a bit did show up on my boot, just a smattering on the left side. We did go through it, performing a carb clean and petcock rebuild, we fixed some wiring issues to make it street legal, the rest of the repairs and TLC will be up to it's future owner. As can be seen from pictures, cosmetically there are a couple paint issues that will need some attention, scratches and dings here and there, and the large dent in the tank.
