Vehicle Detail
I'm very sad to do this but it is time for me to sell one of my projects. This is 2007 Audi S6 drivetrain and interior swapped into a 2006 Audi A6 Avant Chassis. This is the only swap or car like this in the US (to my knowledge). My goal was to build a very unique and versatile vehicle to haul my family around in style and still have fun with the power and at the shows. I drove the Avant for almost two years before starting the swap this past summer. This auction is for BOTH vehicles which each have clean and clear titles. The A6 vin is WAUKH74FX6N081784. It was a 3.2L V6 Avant which I swapped most everything over from the 2007 S6. Complete drivetrain, suspension, and most interior was swapped over. I have all my notes from before the swap was started showing all the ecu's and codes for each vehicle. At this point the car powers up but doesn't recognize the key (because it's the A6 key with the S6 ECU's and such). I have a lot of time and money into this project but it's been in storage for the last few months and I haven't had any real time to work on it since September. Again, this is for both cars with titles. I bought a complete running S6 so I would have all the pieces needed to make this work. I'm more of a mechanical guy than electrical so I did everything I could on my own but it seems to be all ecu and coding stuff at this point. That's beyond my realm of knowledge. The Avant has the facelifted front end and rear end, S6 Miltek exhaust, Custom RS6 steering wheel, all carbon trim, custom red headliner and seatbelts, roof rack cross bars, roof basket, integrated video buy pass, and tons more I'm forgetting. I would prefer to talk to any potential buyers so send me and I can contact you to go over whatever you would like to know. It's a lot of information and its way to much to type up. I would love for someone to finish this project. I was going to do RS6 headlights and air suspension when the swap was done and that was it. So, in my opinion it's almost there. If it doesn't sell I will be parting it out and my reserve is well below what it's worth parted out. Especially since both chassis have clear VIN's. I require $500 Paypal deposit within 48hrs of auction end and full payment by cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end. Please please please someone finish this for me and enjoy a beast of a unicorn. If you love wagons or Avants, this is THE project to finish. Thank you for your time and good luck!On Mar-31-16 at 20:12:11 PDT, seller added the following information: It also has the C6 Allroad door blades as well.On Apr-03-16 at 02:56:15 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have an Audi fork mount bike rack that was removed before the pictures were taken. That's why the basket is mounted off center. I had the bike on the driver side. I also just lowered the reserve (again). I'm becoming more comfortable with the reality that I'm selling it. As the bids have come in my reserve has gone down. Thank you and good luck.
