I am a 67 year old attorney in Austin, TX. I originally leased "Red" in the Fall of 2004 and couldn't part w/ it after the lease expired. I then purchased it which is why the Carfax may show me as the 2d owner. The car has been my daily driver, always garaged both at home and at work. I am obsessive-compulsive by nature and the car has been maintained religiously under the "old" BMW maintenance schedule w/ 7500 mile Mobil 1 oil changes. I have all service records, original sales documents, window sticker and buyer's DVD. For those unfamiliar w/ the rare ZHPs, they are amazing automobiles. Four door M3s w/ a little less power. This one has been spoiled, never tracked and lovingly cared for as I thought I was going to keep it forever but along came this Porsche and you know the rest. As the car was approaching 100k I went to replace the shocks w/ Konis and one thing led to another and finally a full Dinan Stage II package locally installed by a certified Dinan dealer. Engine - air induction, chip and exhaust; Transmission - chip; Suspension - Koni shocks and Eibach oversized front and rear anti-sway bars w/ nylon/teflon bushings; Interior - floor mats, badging and new alcantra steering wheel. Look at pictures closely. The overall condition of the car is excellent. One wheel has very slight curb rash. All of the "usual" parts and problems have been fixed and replaced by a great local BMW shop. Brake light just came on and this Thursday I am putting new front brakes on, factory Brembo rotors w/ M3 pads (dirtier but more feel). If you can find a better one, buy it!
