1955 Cadillac coupe de ville. This Cadillac came from the factory with power windows, power locks, air conditioning, power steering highly optioned car. It's a project car but a very straight and minimal rust project. Possibilities are endless in regards to what you want to build, you can resto-mod, rat rod, full custom, or even restore back to original. My original design was going to be to leave the exterior with the patina and have all late model running gear under it with a new interior. In the process I have bought a doner car that will make the build an easy one and keep cost low. Included in the sale is a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood with 100,000 miles which is in perfect running condition, needs nothing, ice cold air,all power, lt1 v8 with automatic overdrive trans. The frame on the 96 is 8" shorter than the 55 so a simple stretch in the frame, and you have a complete platform to mount the 55 on to. My idea was to install air ride and Detroit steel wheels to make it a bitchin ride I could drive anywhere and run the hot rod power rour with no issues what so ever, but plans have changed and finishing my house is currently more important. It took me a couple of years to find this car because I didn't want to start with a rust bucket. A lot of these Cadillacs are very rusty. This one has very little rust. All inside the quarter panel wheel wells are perfect no rust. The trunk floor has no rust, trunk and trunk opening are perfect, he only rust is on the pass and drivers foot area and I have replacement panels for it. I have a new gas tank with float that you probably won't use but comes with the sale, that alone was 375.00. All in all a very good project all trim is there it's missing nothing.
