The frame and tank/fender paint, and the chrome tank panels are all in good condition with a few chips/scratches and the patina of age. The side panels are in excellent condition Bike is also listed on Panjo and the Erie, PA Craigslist and for sale locally. There are 33 photos on the Panjo listing - search for 1972 BMW R75/5 Toaster. PA inspection good through 8/2016. Tires are good and should pass inspection again depending on riding style and the mileage you put on this season. All lights and signals work properly as well as the horn. Yuasa battery is new one year ago. Buyer will receive a new dry Yuasa battery and battery acid. Comes with original tool kit and tool tray. New oil sump and valve cover gaskets (not in photos), and fresh oil change. It is a strong running fun to ride bike with a compression test done last season measuring 160 psi in both cylinders. This bike can be run as is or restored/refurbished to the new owners desires. This is a motorcycle classic that will only increase in value. As you can see by the photos, this bike has been modified from stock by a previous owner - I do not have the original parts that were replaced. Since I have owned it, I have only run non-ethanol fuel and have not had any carburetor issues. It has always been stored inside while I've owned it.
