This is a classic, direct drive shaft four cylinder bike with mostly original factory equipment. It has a couple dents in the tank and some dings/cosmetic flaws (keep in mind it's 32 years old), but it is mechanically sound and runs good. It comes with a passenger seat and sissy bar, two brand new tires (not on bike), a new battery, saddle bags, a tool kit and bike cover. This is a great starter bike for beginners, given its 699cc engine, exceptional durability (it can take a beating and you won't feel as bad if it gets dropped a couple times while learning), weight and ease of driving/controls. However, it is a very quick bike with a lot torque. Given its age and lack of bells and whistles typically found on newer bikes, most maintenance and repairs can be performed by a mechanically-inclined owner. They just don't build bikes like this anymore. This is also a great bike for enthusiasts and experienced riders. It has been covered and mostly sitting the last year, as I just haven't had the time to ride - lack of use is the reason I'm selling. Also, its age puts it in the "classic" automobile category, so registration is typically cheaper (depending on state). I really hate to part with it, as it's been a great bike, but it really needs an owner with the time to ride and take care of it.
