1972 Dodge Demon survivor, second and last year of the great looking thin bumper lightweight . Unrusted Colorado car stored securely for many years and recently resurrected to solid driver status. Currently true mileage of 52,485. Brakes gone through with hoses etc, new clutch, new tires, new water pump, new carburetor, new fuel pump, hoses, aluminum radiator (extra cooling, original included). Slant Six 225, three-on-the-tree and 2.76 gears that runs straight, smooth and easily at 80 MPH at 6000 ft altitude. Scratches, minor dings and a couple of spots of old paint blending in small areas that were obviously no more than minor damage. Panel gaps, crispness of hinges and latches, very light wear throughout interior all confirm the original recorded miles. Dashpad, dash, upholstery, headliner, uncut door panels and package shelf all like new. Original radio still in place. Rear bumper is new Made in USA reproduction, original bumper included demonstrates it was only slightly tweaked. It could be cleaned and detailed as a survivor class competitor (they're only original once), form the basis for a tribute 340 Demon exactly as you would have optioned it or as a Pro Touring foundation. I personally think it would be a shame to cut it into a race car but buyer is obviously free to do whatever they want. Key is no worn out, damaged or rusted Demon could be restored to the condition of this original body/chassis/interior for twice what it will sell for. I began my A-Body collector years in the rust belt and never realized what "clean original unrusted" could look like... this is it.
