Here is your chance to own a First generation Celica for a reasonable price. These are getting hard to find. This lift back Is a GT model. It has the R20 engine option and 5 speed transmission. This car has AC, the compressor will kick on and it seems to blow cool at best so I will assume a charge would be needed. The original color was an orangish red that you can see under the hood. The car has sat up for some years and runs and drives but could use a tune up. The brakes are up but are soft and should be checked. The interior looks original except it does have new carpet in the cargo area and a new lift gate rear rubber seal. The dash is in nice condition with only one small crack. The factory radio is just sitting in the spot as there was an aftermarket radio in it at one time. It has a new shift boot and shift knob as well. The headliner does not have any holes or tears but has come unglued and will need to be reglued. The aircraft looking light in the headliner works as do all the gauges except the gas gauge. There is some rust on the car in small spots that are not major. The worst seems to be on the front edge of the hood. The paint on the car is not the best of paint jobs and in my opinion should be repainted the original color and fix the small rust spots at that time. There are also door dings and scratches in the current paint job. The floors are super solid with no rust. The spare tire well looks to have had some repair years ago. All in all, it is a good car to start with to restore or make a track car out of. Either way, these are getting rare and worth a little effort.
