This Beautiful T500 is the only bike in my small collection that will start in a couple of kicks, no matter how long it sits! I purchased this bike in 2013 from Ducati of Bellevue Washington in 2013. They had the engine gone over by Paul Paroli a well know 2-stroke guy in the North West. What was done just before my purchase: Crank Out and Checked, Installed with new Crank Seals, 1st Overbore on the Cylinders with New Pistons & Rings. Rebuilt and cleaned carbs. Rebuilt Petcock. Replaced Oil Pump, Euro Low Handlebars installed, New Avon Vintage Look Tires. Fresh Paint on Fuel tank, oil tank, and side panel. I added a light weight lithium Ion Battery, put brand new brake shoes in front and rear, and have replaced a couple of chrome bits. I've only ridden it a couple hundred miles. Everything works including the Oil Injection. It's a joy to ride - I simply have gotten the Bevel Ducati Bug (see additional photo) - and I need to clear some space. The bike is not absolutely concourse, as there are a couple of very small spots of pitting on the rear fender and muffler chrome. But, overall it is a beautiful bike that draws a ton of attention everywhere I park it, and can certainly pull a trophy at your local bike show. It would take very little to make it concourse worthy.
