Lets just say for argument this may be the nicest 2004 GMC Pickup left on earth. It is 11K Miles, original. More important it has never been worked and it is ALWAYS garaged. It is one owner. It still sits on original tires. This is an unusual special order truck that was ordered like someone would order a truck in 1980. Older gentleman's truck obviously. This is not a yuppie truck, so I cant help you adding doors leather, bluetooth and nav to it. But you simply cannot top this on condition. Take the rest of your life to do it on something of this era. What it has is a full load options in this configuration with Power window, locks, Mirrors, Cruise, AC, CD Player, Driving Lights, Tow Package, 3:42 Posi Trac, 4 wheel disk brakes, chrome wheels, rear window defrost and more. Then it has the 5.3 285HP Vortec motor, of which is the top engine available in this configuration. Being that this is one of the final years of the much lighter 2WD trucks before they went to torsion front end, this truck is sort of an enigma in iteslf on power in this configuration. It really scoots. It makes my 2010 F150 with the 330HP motor fell like a total dog. And it drives like a go cart compared. Fun, stable and fast... Before trucks went total bulbous. There is not so much as a scratch or flaw on this truck. The dealer had the bed rhino lined and body pin stripes, I am sure to add to their bottom line on the sale of what was more money than some 4 door trucks at the time with this one. The owner was 85 when he bought this new... It never left town.. Really, the reason you see me with this is all about condition. I respect something of this that was literally saved as new when pretty much all trucks have a pretty hard life and most are subject to a life outside.. IE, crew bulbous trucks that people buy and cant fit in their garage. This never sat out a day. This is a truck that would literally last someone the rest of their life if maintained and garaged. Sadly I own too may trucks and I really cant see using something this nice as a work truck. A sin I wont commit as its too nice.
