1997 Sport with a Hummer conversion kit installed in 2008. Needs new seat/covers, tail gate and exterior paint at the discretion of buyer. I drive it every day (20 miles to school and back). It has excellent off road tires but I've never used it off road. However, it would make an excellent off-road work horse. It can also be up graded with current market products sold on eBay ...etc. I'm only selling this because I am buying a van for camping and school. It runs great and has never burnt oil. The transmission is also very solid. The drivers seat is in need of repair and the back seat has been removed along with the tail gate and windows, all of which can be bought from the Jeep Catalog etc.With less than 135000 miles on it, it is easily able to go an other 100,000 + mi. The Hummer kit turns a lot of heads as well as adds value to its potential up grade.Thank you for your interest in my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. Sport inline 6 cylinder 4.0 automatic transmission, clear title, 136k miles- I have owned this vehicle for 11 years. I hate to part with this Jeep. I have preformed all regular maintenance and oil changes. I've had all the major maintenance done when needed. Some of the major repairs I had completed within the past 5 years: -new radiator -front driver sway bar link -brake service - brake lines replace- rotors front -battery is approx. 1 yr -alternator -coolant flush -tires purchased at approx 110k miles, regularly rotated see pictures for tread wear I know this vehicle really well, it runs strong. The jeeps inline 6cynlinder 4.0 engine was built to last and is mechanically sound. My mechanic recently told me it "will run forever" I also wanted to highlight some of the areas that need improvement. Sold As Is -See picture - Overall the JEEP runs great, I hate to part with it because Ive had it for so long. I invested alot of time and money to ensure regular proactive maintenance of this vehicle, that is why I feel the Jeep runs as good as it does despite the age. It would be a great wrangler for aftermarket parts/project. This is something I always wanted to do but I just don't have the money any for it.
