Vehicle Detail

1989 Porsche 911 Turbo (930) Cabriolet, 3.3L Air Cooled, with original paint and original miles, garage kept by non-smoker. The 1989 Turbo Cabriolet is the Holy Grail of the Turbos. The rare 1989 Turbo models were the last of the original body style and the first with a 5 speed manual transmission and hydraulic clutch. 100% original factory paint, Black on Black on Black. Outside, the black paint looks great over the outrageous wide Turbo haunches and infamous whale tail rear spoiler. The original 16x7 and 16x9 rims are in storage while the car currently mounts 17” deep dish 5-spoke RUF rims. Parts from the glass to lights and lenses are all original. The top is solid and tear free, and all of the seals have just been replaced. The paint is glossy and clear. and the interior is in great shape including Leather Seats, Carpeting, Dash, Door Panels, and Head Liner. Inside you're looking at a pair of eight way power seats in excellent condition. Turbos were covered in extra leather on places like the door handles and door pockets, and it richens the interior. The raised MOMA steering wheel and transmission take the car out of the 1970's--the old 930 transmission is light years behind the G50 in the '89 turbos. With a curb weight was under 2950 pounds and 422 rwHP and 466 ft-lbs or torque, this specimen is a rocket that will rival modern cars. The engine was recently refreshed in June 2014, with a full clutch replacement, valve guides, valves, rockers and a 964 grind cams. Nearly $12,000 worth of work was performed in 2014 alone. The sound from the RarlyL8 center exit performance exhaust is incredible, especially with the car on boost. Extras include: GHL Header (with heat), Kokeln intercooler, K27-7200 turbo, TRG sway bars front and rear, K&N air cleaner, strut tower brace, Bilstein sport shocks all corners, adjustable Warm Up Regulator (WUR), Innovate air/fuel ratio gauge and even the rare silver hood crest. Original parts are available or in storage and all stored parts are included in the auction (including Fuch rims). Everything works on this car! From fog lights to power windows, fog lights to heated power exterior windows and the Nakumichi CD/AM/FM radio to the central locking doors. Even the window washers work perfectly. And the original tool kit, spare, even service records are all here. The car's manners are excellent made even more so by the G50 five-speed transmission. Driving this car is an experience of smooth and seemingly endless power, combined with huge brakes and a taut suspension that can handle any corner. Great colors, great manners, collectability and GREAT looks make this car one to own. - If you don't intend to follow through with the action, please don't bid. - To this end a US $500.00 deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction close.- Buyer pays for shipping costs or local pickup.
