Vehicle Detail
1960 Impala This car was in SC until I bought it, it now has a clear NC title in my name. I planned on restoring it as it is rare to find one in this condition. It is complete with all it's chrome, and original engine which is a 348! The body is straight and has most of it's original paint, there is surface rust as you can see in the photos. The floors are perfect and the trunk has several rotted areas and could be patched or replace the pan. The bottom of the quarters have had work done but minimal, this is an easy restore and a great winter project. Brakes have been done on all 4 wheels with new lines as well (mushy/pedal pump to get a full pedal and need bled). They were done probably 3 years ago so you need to check them before driving it on the road. This is a factory 348, 4 barrel carb, power steering and brakes. Motor runs great, no smoke, or noise. Looks like a rebuild at some point. Trans is a 400 turbo, but I have a complete 4 speed setup for this car with pedals, rods, trans, bellhousing, flywheel and clutch for additional money of course. Will discuss a package deal. I have added pictures of the underneath and several of the interior. The floorboards are great, drop down on the passenger side will need work but drivers side is ok. This all shows in the pictures. When this car is done it's a $40,000 car, do the math and buy one that you build yourself and know what you have. The car runs and drives but I would trailer it any distance until you get the brakes bleed and go over everything, it hasn't been on the road for probably 10 years. 8288083864 is my cell if you want to discuss.
