I purchased this 1967 in 2013 with 200 miles on speedometer, now shows 1015 miles.....Very little driving.....I was hurt on the job and unable to really drive it........It was restored sometime in 2012 I was told.......New tires and chrome wheels.......It is lowered .......The restoration was done in Georgia.......It was repainted.......It has the front fenders of a 1966..............There was no radio when I got it.........I installed a modified new radio that was correct for this year vehicle........Since it has been sitting for this past winter I installed a new generator, voltage regulator, starter, a new "No-Points" distributor, carburetor, fuel pump, spark plugs, spark plug wires, gas filter and hoses and solenoid......Runs and starts perfect......there is NO spare tire or jack (it came that way and I never replaced them)......installed new trunk carpet, fuel cap, windshield washer tank, and fuel gauge (in gas tank)...... I was never able to get the windshield washer system to work........I bought a windshield washer switch but to no avail.........also there are new locks installed in the doors but seller could not find the keys, so key does not work for doors..... ..................I am using the original pictures because I never took any and EBay is running a special event for selling a vehicle on EBay and this VW has not changed its looks.......It turns heads and gets a lot of positive remarks when I did drive it........I guess I can get some newer pictures if needed......and I can help with the shipping in some capacity....... ......................I had paid almost twice what I have the reserve for on this VW........I believe the next owner will be pleased.......
