This Bug was produced on March 22nd, 1956 and delivered to it's first owner in Vancouver, Canada on April 4th, 1956 where it stayed in his possession for 32 years. After the restoration - it was the West Coast show winner for many years...1st Place-Vintage Stock July 1993 in Vancouver, B.C. It then made it's way to sunny California where it rested in a very nice collection until I purchased it back in 2014. This is a fantastic and Rare VW Beetle. Painted in rare Jungle Green with a fantastic original interior in vinyl and wool that was only available on Canadian cars of this vintage. All the glass is original German made and interior trim is amazing and like new. The rear seat even has the original tags from the factory signed and dated. Everything works as it did new, starts first time every time. Shifts smoothly through all 4 gears. The original sheet metal is Amazing the floors, fenders and all metal is rust free and unbelievable. Even the original roof rack is amazing. All in all these early Oval window VW Beetle's are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. And to find one like this is very hard trust me. These are highly collectible and a huge appreciating asset (like money in the bank). Now you can own a piece of history at a reasonable price so don't let this one get away.
