I have been hearing about this truck for several years and finally got a chance to get to speak to the wife and son of the owner that owned it since 1995 which is no longer with us. upon first look at the truck its not nearly as impressive as the truck actually is upon closer inspection. i know its unusual for someone to start out telling you the negatives about their truck but i absolutely strive for happy customers when they get here. as my pictures show, the paint is not in showroom or even garage kept condition so the casual observer would think it was just the average old dodge truck. that is until you get up close and notice the factory grill is still in very good condition. and then you notice the stickers on the truck from the original selling dealership and factory pinstriping is still on the truck. then when you get around to the rear and see the factory original mud flaps! then you look inside the camper and see that its never had a gooseneck hitch. and if you really know what your looking at you notice the original tail pipe and look under the truck and notice the original muffler is still on the truck. so as your taking all this in you look inside the truck and the interior is in pretty good condition but then you look at the odometer and see the 81000 miles and wonder "surely thats not the actual miles?" then you hit the key and if you know what your listening to you will be smiling from ear to ear! and when the motor comes to life and you feel the cold a/c coming from the vents! then its time to go for a drive. when you hit the throttle you immediately know this truck is not in any way whatsoever turned up. at full throttle it leaves no smoke and it is certainly not a race horse. but as it goes through the gears the power comes on. overdrive and the cruise control both work. I have been hearing about this truck for several years and finally got a chance to get to speak to the wife and son of the owner that owned it since 1995 which is no longer with us. upon first look at the truck its not nearly as impressive as the truck actually is upon closer inspection. i know its unusual for someone to start out telling you the negatives about their truck but i absolutely strive for happy customers when they get here. as my pictures show, the paint is not in showroom or even garage kept condition so the casual observer would think it was just the average old dodge truck. that is until you get up close and notice the factory grill is still in very good condition. and then you notice the stickers on the truck from the original selling dealership and factory pinstriping is still on the truck. then when you get around to the rear and see the factory original mud flaps! then you look inside the camper and see that its never had a gooseneck hitch. and if you really know what your looking at you notice the original tail pipe and look under the truck and notice the original muffler is still on the truck. so as your taking all this in you look inside the truck and the interior is in pretty good condition but then you look at the odometer and see the 81000 miles and wonder "surely thats not the actual miles?" then you hit the key and if you know what your listening to you will be smiling from ear to ear! and when the motor comes to life and you feel the cold a/c coming from the vents! then its time to go for a drive. when you hit the throttle you immediately know this truck is not in any way whatsoever turned up. at full throttle it leaves no smoke and it is certainly not a race horse. but as it goes through the gears the power comes on. overdrive and the cruise control both work.
