Careful not to let this 1974, well cared for, Ghia get away. They are hard to find in this Beautiful condition! We are selling this car for a collector friend of ours that is moving into a new house and it will only fit 20 of his 40+ cars, so he is thinning his herd. (Poor baby, but lucky you). He got this from a friend of his that has had it since High School, but just isn’t a family car so he traded for something bigger. This Ghia also still retains its various correctly mounted VW factory data plates shown in several pictures below and you can tell by the pictures it has never had any front end damage. The little VW still has all it’s Original sheet metal, including the floor pans Even under the battery tray. You can tell because you can see in the little chips along the bottom edge the original orange paint coming through. What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking Classic 1974 VW Karmann Ghia. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and in AWESOME shape. I drove this VW for couple of days running errands as needed and it ran and drove VERY WELL. I got it up to 80 MPH on the freeway and it still had half the pedal left. It is a NICE - DRY - California VW for its whole life !! If you can make it to Visalia CA in the next ten days please come look at and drive this Beauty for yourself. You won't be disappointed!! This 1974 VW Karmann Ghia has what we were told is a Geoff Hart air-cooled - four cylinder racing motor with dual Weber carbs in it and as you can see in the pics and we were told it has had everything you can do to one of these motors to trick them out done to it! Geoff Hart was rated 4th in the US during the VW Motor Builder Showdown, the engine and trans in this Ghia probably cost more than we are asking for the whole car. This is a little rocket ship. The engine is backed by a smooth four-speed transmission / transaxle with SCAT short through shifter and it shifts great up and down in high performance driving conditions. NEW interior is in great condition including NICE ORIGINAL Tan recovered front bucket seats, custom stainless steel dash, NICE carpet, NICE ORIGINAL headliner, NICE new matching door panels, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster and aftermarket Autometer AMP, Oil temperature, Oil pressure and Tachometer, NICE Grant steering wheel. This Classic VW is nicely equipped including working turn signals so it is legal in all the states, Front Disc Brakes, Original Front and Rear Bumpers, Original Jack, Original rear view mirror, dual color-matched folding sport exterior mirrors, custom Ghia brake and clutch pedals, Neal gas pedal, Chrome SCAT short through shifter and "T-Handle", Panasonic DF800U AM/FM/CD with Boston Acoustic component Speakers. This 1974 VW Karmann Ghia is a great running and good-looking car for sure. It drives smooth and straight and tight. All of the light lenses are still bright, clear and in good condition even the rubber weather-stripping is new. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train seem to be in good working order, with new KYB shocks. This is a BEAUTIFUL 1974 VW – Karmann Ghia we have been asked to sell for a friend and as you can see in the pictures it is in Incredible shape! Careful not to let this 1974, well cared for, Ghia get away. They are hard to find in this Beautiful condition!
We are selling this car for a collector friend of ours that is moving into a new house and it will only fit 20 of his 40+ cars, so he is thinning his herd. (Poor baby, but lucky you). He got this from a friend of his that has had it since High School, but just isn’t a family car so he traded for something bigger.
This Ghia also still retains its various correctly mounted VW factory data plates shown in several pictures below and you can tell by the pictures it has never had any front end damage. The little VW still has all it’s Original sheet metal, including the floor pans Even under the battery tray. You can tell because you can see in the little chips along the bottom edge the original orange paint coming through. What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! Take a look at the lines on this beauty, what an amazing looking Classic 1974 VW Karmann Ghia. This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and in AWESOME shape. I drove this VW for couple of days running errands as needed and it ran and drove VERY WELL. I got it up to 80 MPH on the freeway and it still had half the pedal left. This 1974 VW Karmann Ghia has what we were told is a Geoff Hart air-cooled - four cylinder racing motor with dual Weber carbs in it and as you can see in the pics and we were told it has had everything you can do to one of these motors to trick them out done to it! Geoff Hart was rated 4th in the US during the VW Motor Builder Showdown, the engine and trans in this Ghia probably cost more than we are asking for the whole car. This is a little rocket ship. The engine is backed by a smooth four-speed transmission / transaxle with SCAT short through shifter and it shifts great up and down in high performance driving conditions. NEW interior is in great condition including NICE ORIGINAL Tan recovered front bucket seats, custom stainless steel dash, NICE carpet, NICE ORIGINAL headliner, NICE new matching door panels, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster and aftermarket Autometer AMP, Oil temperature, Oil pressure and Tachometer, NICE Grant steering wheel. This Classic VW is nicely equipped including working turn signals so it is legal in all the states, Front Disc Brakes, Original Front and Rear Bumpers, Original Jack, Original rear view mirror, dual color-matched folding sport exterior mirrors, custom Ghia brake and clutch pedals, Neal gas pedal, Chrome SCAT short through shifter and "T-Handle", Panasonic DF800U AM/FM/CD with Boston Acoustic component Speakers. This 1974 VW Karmann Ghia is a great running and good-looking car for sure. It drives smooth and straight and tight. All of the light lenses are still bright, clear and in good condition even the rubber weather-stripping is new. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners, any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive train seem to be in good working order, with new KYB shocks.

The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
