Vehicle Detail

This wagon has spent it’s entire life with the same family. It has only been driven 98591 miles since brand new . This iconic wagon is extremely well kept and cared for. It has accordingly to the family member I bought it from spent 90% of it’s time parked inside. It was used mainly on long trip family vacations. It is a very unique time machine that has not been restored, tempered with, or cut up. It was recently stored inside from 1990. It just had the 4bbl carburetor rebuilt. It runs very smooth and comfortably. This Kingswood Estate wagon has a working AC, FM radio, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, power back window, dual action tailgate, rear airshocks, roof rack, rear visor, and the desirable 3rd seat to accommodate 9 people! It was repainted over 20 years ago, and is not perfect. It needs a exhaustsystem. There is no rust or major damage to the body. The original interior is in a extremely good condition. It has a great running 350 ci engine, a TH350 automatic transmission, and a 12 bolt rear end. The glass is good, the chrome is good. All electrical works. This is a very comfortable wagon, that would allow you to take your family on a roadtrip in style or make a great cruiser of. The Kingswood Estate wagon has a clear CA title and is ready for the road. Great family wagon, PR cruiser for your company, push car for your vintage dragster or just a fun daily driver. There were four models available for the 1969 Chevrolet full size wagons, one for each of the equivalent trim levels in the other full size models. The Kingswood Estate was equivalent to the Caprice, while the Kingswood was equal to the Impala. The Townsman was on the same level as the Bel Air, while the Brookwood equalled theBiscayne. The Kingswood Estate was the top of the line wagon, equal to Caprice. It wore a unique side-chrome treatment, was often decked out in simulated wood grain trim, and was often loaded with all the luxury features you would expect with Caprice. This wagon carried the 6 tail light theme of Impala and Caprice, and Caprice's clear white turn signal lenses instead of the orange ones used on all other full size models. Kingswood Estate could only be bought only with a V-8. A third reverse-facing rear seat was optional making room for 9 passengers. "Chevrolet" was written in bold script across the width of the hood 350 C.I. V-8 300 L48
