This is a 1988 Mercedes 560SL Convertible. I am the second owner of this vehicle, I purchased it approximately ten years ago and it has been garage kept for the majority of the time. Six months ago I took the car in for service to be done by a Mercedes Tech and the following repairs and improvements were done: (Please note I have all the records and receipts and all OE Mercedes parts were used) New Tires New Brakes, Rotors and Sensors All Oils and Filters have Been Replaced 8 New OE Injectors Valve Cover Gaskets Replaced New OE Fuel Pressure Regulator New OE EHA Valve New Battery New Front Bump Cover Wheels have Been Painted with OE Mercedes Paint New Trim Molding on Top of Windshield (Has not been installed yet) The Gas Tank has Been Removed and Cleaned A/C was Serviced with OE Switches and Receiver Drier and R12 Freon ( Vehicle comes with 12 cans of R12, We typically add one can every 14-18 months) New Plugs, Wires and Complete Set of New Injectors The Hard Top was Painted by Mercedes 6 CD Disc Player added in the Trunk Everything mentioned above cost $6,000 and the vehicle has been driven less than 25 miles since the service. The services pictured are the actual services down by Mercedes up until the last date (2005), since I have owned the vehicle the service have been maintained and the last time was six months ago. The top is in excellent condition There is a small blemish over the passenger taillight. This was on the vehicle when I purchased it and I questioned the Mercedes body shop regarding fixing the blemish and they recommended that I leave it alone. (Please see photos). I do not want any trades. I hate to get rid of the car but it is time, due to my age.
