Vehicle located in Peoria, IL. Great condition Caprice. Garaged for most of it's life and I have kept it under a car port for the past 2 years. 3 speed automatic transmission and only 42K on engine and I bought it with only 18K on it. I replaced the alternator, V belt and windshield washer pump. Rides smooth and comes with CD player and working AC although it needs new coolant (R12) but given how it's not legal in most places 134A works well enough and is less expensive. The wiring for the windshield wiper needs to be fixed as well. Also comes with original paperwork including warranty. I brought it in recently to get some minor work done, tightened a couple belts, got an oil change and replaced one of the cables that goes to the instrument cluster. The headliner has started to drop although I have it held in place with tan thumbtacks. There is also minor noise behind the instrument cluster due to the fact that the gears are starting to wear out. Doesn't cause issues in terms of functionality but it is noticed when driving. Mechanically the engine is in excellent condition and has not had any issues. A couple minor rust spots have cropped up in the past couple years but the paint is in great shape with no dents or noticeable marks. I had the tires checked out and they are in great condition for their age, minor wear on the front set but the rear pair have solid tread and no issues of dry rot.
