This beautiful XK8 has served us well. This is a NO RESERVE auction. (The five matching rims/tires + tonneau cover are worth the opening bid of $1,000.) We purchased it in 2009 with just over 75,000 miles on it. It now has 95,215 with trips from Chicago to Boston, Chicago to Los Angeles and Chicago to New Orleans on it. Recently, it limped home with a “Transmission Fault.” The transmission will need to be repaired--it has the "classic symptoms of 'A' drum failure" according to online repair forums. Although the car limps forward (it backs up fine), you must be prepared to tow/trailer the car upon purchase. The car will most likely back up onto a trailer, it may not drive onto one due to slippage in forward gear.
