1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Hardtop 283 V8 Turbo-Fire 195hp Survivor Malibu For sale is a Fantastic Chevelle Malibu. Sold at Fanning Chevrolet in Gresham Oregon. This very original Malibu is the desired color and condition for the discerning car enthusiast . Vehicle does come with owner history such as maintenance records and receipts. Original Protect-O-Plate, warranty book, every registration slip since new proving that it has been here in Portland. Car looks, runs, and drives excellent. Brakes are not power, but stops good and straight. The power steering is light and easy to steer. This car is a survivor that has not been restored. The paint is in superb shape, it appears to have been repainted in June 2000, while some dents were repaired, I have the receipt. The black vinyl top is excellent and does not have any bubbles. Upgraded with 15" Rally with more modern tires size. There was minor surface rust in the trunk pan which I took care of. I addressed a manifold leak, and rebuilt the carburetor. It comes with spare tire and jack, with a new tire on the spare. Difficult to believe this car is 47 years old. The 283 SBC V8 is original from the best of my knowledge. The engine # is V0607DJ. The codes designate it as the 283 2 barrel 195 hp Powerglide unit. The Powerglide transmission shifts smooth and solid. Overall this is a super clean Chevelle! No Trades. Title in hand. Odometer shows 25,415 but likely 125k miles. Small tear on headliner (size of a quarter).
