Out of the 4254 US 911S built there were only 2175 Targa's built for US consumption. Here is a very solid beautiful example ready for a nice drive with or without the top on. The following is a list of options as this CAR is currently equipped with: 2.7-litre S engine 165hp 5-spd manual transmission Sports steering wheel Power windows ROH-SP 7Jx16 Wheels 215/50R16 Dunlop tires Targa removable top Fog lights Pioneer am/fm cass The interior has been freshened up in it's original Cinnamon Leatherette and looks amazing. All gauges are clear and work as they should. The dash, door pockets, seats, Targa top and carpets are in excellent condition. All glass is perfect. The exterior is also drop dead gorgeous! The paint code #264 Emerald Green Metallic was a special order color in 1976. The paint shows fantastic. However there is a small perforation on the passenger side under rear glass trim which is in photos. I personally would not mess with it. Just enjoy the ride. Mechanically I just spent $3485 fixing and updating necessary items that needed attention. Including rebuilding the chain tensioners, new starter, ignition switch, and gaskets and seals. I pretty much gave carte blanche to Porsche specialist to repair. Copies are photographed. All in all these early Porsche's are greatly appreciating in value and becoming a Blue Chip collector car.
