This is an amazing little car. I bought it from the dealer in San Rafael, CA when it was 1 year old (2002). Since then it has been an absolute joy to drive. I’ve maintained it religiously, and it has had remarkably low costs of ownership. Last service was less than1500 miles ago, and it received a full checkup and all repairs made. The car has been serviced at the same shop in Palo Alto, CA for the last 10 years. I have records of the last set of maintenance ($3000) but beyond that, my records are very limited. Last smog test was done Feb 2015. The engine is in excellent condition. The tires have less than 5000 miles. The battery is 1-month old. A couple of years back, I upgraded the stereo and added a high-quality mic for hands free calling via Bluetooth. Despite the car’s age, it's in solid shape. There are three minor scratches on the exterior. There are small paint chips on the front from normal road driving. Some of the plastic on the car shows weathering/cracking, as you would expect from a 15 year old vehicle. The trunk-located 6-CD case is missing. Interior leather is in good condition, all electronics work. The car is currently located in Portola Valley, CA. I am happy to help ship it, at the buyer’s expense.
