1969 Pontiac GTO Carousel Red / Parchment 428ci Turbocharged / Intercooled / Fuel Injected / Well over 500hp. This is an older build that was drag raced often, the previous owner told me it would run low 11's on street tires. It now has a loud engine knock, I don't know if it's a rod knock or piston slap or maybe both. It runs and drives ok but it definitely needs the lower end repaired. The engine code is A139 YH built January 13 1969 and it's a 428ci The heads are 6X-8 Modifications include: Precision Turbo PTB505-6765 A/R.86 Intercooler 24"x12"x3.25" core Edelbrock Fuel Injection, Throttle Body and Intake Manifold Accell DFI Thruster Engine Management System MSD Blaster Digital 6A Ignition Control MSD Pro-Billet Distributor Competition Engineering Fuel Tank Sump Flow Master Mufflers SSBC High Performance Disc Brakes on Front and Rear As I understand the recent history of this GTO, the previous owner bought it from a Specialty Car dealer in 2010 for $14,000. At the time the car was mostly original, over the next couple of years an additional $20,000 in parts and labor was spent to make this one of the fastest GTO's in South Florida. It is now in need of some restoration including major engine work.
