Vehicle Detail

I am selling this 928S4 as a Track/Driver's Ed car, not a Street Car. It could be restored to a daily driver, but would need some work and may be cost prohibitive. I bought the car in 2000. It had been wrecked and had "Salvage Title". It had quite a bit of fender damage and the interior was in poor condition. (It came from North Carolina, sat in the Sun, and the Sun took it's toll on the inside.) The main body, engine and drive train were all OK, so I bought it, fixed it up and turned it into a "Track Car". I felt if I wrecked it, I wouldn't be out too much and it would be a good learning tool. In 2009, with the Recession hitting hard, I gave-up driving track events. For the most part, the car has been sitting in my Garage since. When I fixed-up the car in 2000, I installed Recarro Racing Seats, 5-Point harness/seat belts, and a roll bar. Replaced the motor in 2005(?), with new bearings, titanium rods, had the ECU repaired, had the crank cross-drilled, replaced hoses, some wiring etc. Upgrades to the suspension- adjustable sway-bars, Koni Shocks and Springs. The rear seats and some of the back trim has been removed. The A/C is also removed, (I have it). All to reduce weight, I'm guessing the curb weight is around 3100 pounds. There is some slight damage to the front right fender, (see picture #14). Also minor damage to right rear fender, (didn't show in pictures). It will need some upgrades, new tires and some belts and hoses. The only thing wrong with the car that I know of is the passenger window switch is bad. Otherwise I know of nothing wrong with the car. This is a great handling car. Well balanced and lots of power +/- 350hp. It is easy to drive and a ball of fun. I have listed it to the best of my knowledge, please ask if you have any questions. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs, I can assist. On Jan-27-16 at 06:39:07 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked about the seats. I no longer have the back seats but can get the original front seats if someone wants them. They will go with the car. Thanks!
