This little jem is a 1979 Diesel rabbit. . It has a fully functioning sunroof. New shifter linkage, new injection pump replaced, new carpet, new headliner, clean chrome bumpers. The car runs and drives well. This is the straightest MK1 I have seen. Every panel fits well, possibly even better than it came from factory. It is a chrome model, every window has a chrome seal. Below are some things that the car could have addressed. Due to Very cold weather now in Georgia, I don't have time to address these. If the car does not sell, I will fix them myself, and the starting bid will go up. -Motor mounts could be replaced. I added new shifter bushings, and now first/reverse is a hit or miss. I tried adjusting one time, I will get it right if I get under the car again. -Passenger Axle has a tear on the outer boot, and should be replaced. -Has a oil leak, I believe its coming from oil pan. There are two bolts that sit between the pan and the transmission dust shield that I cannot seem to get to. they look like they could use more tightening. -Tiny Exhaust leak mid way, that is noticeable during start ups. I have title in hand, ready to sell. The car is solid, runs and drives great, starts up just fine even below 30 degree weather.
