The 1985 Corvette is on Car and Driver's "Ten Best" list for 1985 and recognized as the fastest production car for that year. This car is all original and in great condition for a 30 year old car. It has been parked in my heated warehouse for the 5 years that I have owned it. Never been in an accident and has only a few blemishes in the paint consisting of a few chips in the clear coat. The interior shows little wear with no tears of fading. The instrument cluster works fine. Has all of the major options except the bose stereo, the radio is just AM/FM. The driver and passenger seats are the racing seats with lumbar support. I am the third owner and do not have the original paperwork or owners manual. The only other known issues are that the jack is missing and the power antenna will need repaired or replaced. I only drove it a couple of hundred miles. Along with being fun to drive, this car, has a lot of potential.On Jan-23-16 at 07:47:39 PST, seller added the following information: Update 1/23/2016: Someone sent us a Carfax a few days ago that has a mileage discrepancy on it. It shows 3 repairs in 2009 ( Battery cable bolt, alternator and belt, and valve cover gaskets ) all about the same time that erroneously shows mileage between 21K to 23K. The dealership said that they no longer have hard copy and that is what is on their computer. We ran a carfax before we purchased the car in 2010 and it was not on there at that time. We had no reason to run one since. The mileage they entered at the dealership is suspect and appears based off of when the next oil change was due and not the actual mileage. One thing is the repairs listed are one month apart, one thousand miles apart, and exactly 2,000 miles from the first to last repair. I suspect the mechanic didn't put the mileage on the ticket and the person entering the data estimated. Before that the owner had only driven 500 miles in a year. I will send a copy for anyone that wants it. Once was made aware of this I went to the Illinois Secretary of State and was able to purchase a copy of the title we submitted to them to register the vehicle with our signatures, the sellers signatures and the odometer reading of 19,650 when we bought it in 2010. We have driven it very little and has been in storage in a heated warehouse at our office. I sent the information to Carfax on Thursday to see about getting this corrected. I have been trying to get in contact with the previous owner but have not heard back from them yet. I was going to end the auction until corrected but decided to finish it and make everyone aware. If you are interested but do not want to bid at this time, let me know and I will consider relisting after everything is corrected. It will still be available for sale locally since I can show the documentation and the condition in person.
