This 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Convertible has been my personal car for the last 3 years. i drove it only when i could take down the top and parked it in the garage 100% of the time. we took great care of it and had it serviced every spring whether it needed it or not. a few weeks back it was stolen and taken for a joy ride. during this ride the thieves damaged 3 of the wheels, 1 of the tires, knocked the headlight out, which was later found on the side of the road in fine condition, and probably blew up the engine. it was found on the side of the road out of gas with a blow out on the back left tire. i had it towed to a my local mechanic. i was gonna have him check it out for me and make sure it was ok mechanically. this was a friday night and the mechanic was closed on sat and sun. i was so sure the wheels were the major problem that i went ahead and found me some new wheels on ebay from a guy in dallas and bought them and had them sent to the place the car was to have them put on. while waiting on the tires and wheels the mechanic checks out the car, finds that it is a quart low on oil. he put in gas and oil and when it started up it sounded like the engine was blown. i had it taken to another mechanic my friend recommended and he checked it out and told me it looks like one side of engine is blown and it would have to be totally removed to re-built and would cost somewhere in the 8500 range but that was only an estimate without having the engine out. after mulling this around in my head i have decided to punt this project to someone else and save myself the hassle and money. so here it is! no body damage. the light is out but i have the light and i think it will be fine but i have not checked it out. 3 of the wheels and damaged. i have the wheels i bought but i will be listing them separately. i was also told i could get the wheels totally repaired and refinished for 65-100 dollars per wheel. electric top looks and works great. all the power windows, door locks, seats, etc. work. paint looks really nice. interior really nice. automatic transmission or you can shift on the steering wheel. clean title. buyer will have to pick it up or arrange for it to be picked up. i can assist with logistics if necessary to make getting you this car as easily as possible. i think i have covered everything but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. please see the pictures for details. first picture is from a couple of months ago and the rest are from last week.
